Quid Volo Young Adults: First Fridays

First Fridays @ 7pm

Saint Peter Church, 27551 Volo Village Road, Volo

 

This group will allow young adults to make time for prayer, reflection, discussion and socialization. In our busy lives and schedules, it is so easy to forget to make time for our ultimate goal, which is to get ourselves and as many other souls to Heaven by building solid Catholic friendships. That is the first and foremost purpose of creating and attending this group. The second purpose is to properly form the young people in their faith, so they are able to go out and evangelize, teach and pass on the Catholic faith.

The QVYADG meets on the first Friday of each month in the school following the 7PM First Friday Mass & Devotions to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Little Flower Parish Young Adults

Third Fridays during the school year @ 7pm

Saint Dismas Church - Little Flower Parish, 2600 Sunset Ave, Waukegan

 

This group focuses on prayer, community, spiritual formation, and service. We seek to grow in knowledge and practice of RIM (Relationship with God and others; Identity as children of God and members of His Church; and the Mission that flows from Relationship and Identity).

Young Catholic Professionals (YCP) -Chicago

​

Young Catholic Professionals (https://www.youngcatholicprofessionals.org/cpages/home) (YCP) is a national organization on a mission to challenge, train, and inspire young adults working in various professions to "Work in Witness for Christ." YCP brings together young adults (20s and 30s) for monthly events to foster Catholic identity, encourage community, and inspire action. Some of these events include networking happy hours, executive speaker series, and executive panel discussions. We bring in professional and experienced Catholics in various fields as speakers and panelists at our events to share their stories about how they've been able to "Work in Witness for Christ" through their particular professions and to inspire us to do the same.
