St. John Cantius Church

Chicago, Illinois

St. John Cantius, operated by the St. John Cannons (SJC), was informally voted as the most beautiful church in America. Like its cousin, St. Peter Church in Volo, Illinois, the church features both the extraordinary and ordinary forms of the mass, calling to mind the timelessness of God and his connection to the souls who lived our church's history and traditions. It is also known for employing classical liturgical music as part of its liturgies, such as Mozart's Requiem on All Souls Day.

Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe

Des Plaines, Illinois

This site honors Our Lady of Guadalupe, which draws thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of pilgrims during her glorious feast day of December 12. The shrine features a replica of statues in Guadalupe, honoring San Juan Diego's encounter with the Blessed Mother, and Mass is held every Sunday at 11AM and Mass in Spanish at 1PM.

The Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary, Help of Christians

Erin, Wisconsin

Known more commonly as "Holy Hill" because of an alleged miracle that cured a priest of paralysis, our members may make a short pilgrimage to this holy place from time to time, which features numerous areas of worship and is still known for being the place of miracles.

The Basillica of St. Josaphat

Milwaukee, Wisconsin

A sister shrine to Marytown, this basilica is maintained by the Conventual Franciscans. As for its art and architecture - you need to see it to believe it. The Milwaukee Orchestra typically plays Handel's Messiah here every Christmas.
